Roads from Rio+20: Camiel van Gestel

In the run-up to the Rio+20 Conference in June 2012, Professor Maarten Hajer (director of the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency PBL) talked to an international group of people on the worldwide search for effective ways to solve sustainability challenges.

Here, Camiel van Gestel shows the Waka Waka lamp -- a solar powered LED designed for rural areas without access to electricity, to replace the dangerous and unhealthy kerosine lamps currently used.
