Roads from Rio+20: Prof. Maarten Hajer - London

In the run-up to the Rio+20 Conference in June 2012, Professor Maarten Hajer (director of PBL Netherlands Environmental Assesment Agency) talked to an international group of people on the worldwide search for effective ways to solve sustainability challenges.

Here, Hajer reflects on the Planet under Pressure conference, held in London in March 2012. This conference was one of the major stops on the road to Rio+20, where over 3000 scientists gathered to discuss the key global sustainability challenges.
