Environmental modeller with more than 20 years of experience in hydrology, soil science, eutrophication and pesticide fate. In my current position I am reponsible for the communication of results from complex models to policy makers. I have special interests in spatially distributed models and model quality including the propagation of uncertainties. Member of national and European workgroups dealing with the harmonised risk-assessment of plant protection products (FOCUS, EFSA). One of the chief developers of the PEARL model, which is used in the authorisation of plant protection products
