Researcher at the IMAGE integrated assessment modeling team, a model that assesses long term development pathways in the energy, climate and land-use system. Results are used in e.g. the fourth and fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). David has worked for the LIMITS en AMPERE research projects that assess the effects of fragmented and postponed climate policy. Now he works for the ADVANCE project that attempts to advance the state of the art in global integrated assessment modelling. His research expertise and publications are in resource and energy analysis and climate and global change modelling.
