IMAGE at the Annual IAMC-2020
In the first week of December, the IMAGE team contributed to the annual meeting of the Integrated Assessment Consortium via several presentations.
IMAGE team members presented work on lifestyle change (Nicole van den Berg), industrial energy use (Mariesse van Sluisveld), energy use for shipping (Eduardo Muller Casseres, with COPPE), residential energy use (Vassilis Daioglou) and land-based climate mitigation in Brazil (Isabella Schmidt Tagomori, together with COPPE). The team also contributed to several other presentations including on net negative emissions (ENGAGE presentation) and downscaling mitigation action to the UK (CAST project). Detlef van Vuuren acted as the head of the programming committee of the IAMC.
