Energy and Climate Change

At PBL, we conduct a great deal of wide-ranging research with respect to climate change. We use scenarios and models to calculate, for example, how global greenhouse gas emissions may develop in the future and which policy pathways would lead to emission reductions.

We publish articles and reports on this subject, mostly in English, within an international context. We also report on the progress made with regard to the climate and energy transition on a national level, analysing the current and future impact of policy on  greenhouse gas emission reduction and exploring various options for achieving the reduction targets.
